ROTHBURY BOWLING CLUB

 

 

 

 

 

 

Welcome to Rothbury Bowling Club, a friendly  bowling club situated in the heart of beautiful Northumberland.

 

We offer flat green bowls and everyone is assured of a friendly welcome. Beginners of all ages are particularly welcome. Facilities have been updated over the last few years and we can now offer a modern clubhouse with full disabled access.

 

 

 

Over the website we have put together news and information which we hope you will find interesting. Most of all we would love you to visit our club during the months of April to September.

 

The 2009 season opened on on 13th April (picture below) and ends on 21stSeptember.

 

 

Club meetings take place each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm, and on  Friday evenings from 6pm to 8pm (6.30 - 8.30 in June and July).

 

The club has a qualified coach available for beginners

 

Prospective members are offered one month's free trial before joining and will be most welcome to come along and try out this enjoyable sport.

 

There is a full calendar of events including friendly matches, league matches, inter club competitions and club nights each week.

The club has an active social section with numerous events organised throughout the year by our active social secretary and her committee.
